My partner and I decide to have dinner here on our last day in Paris. I made reservations and the day of for 10:30PM just to be on the safe side. The restaurant is tucked away in a small corner of the street and is a lovely hole in the wall. Upon entering, we were greeted with a very warm and romantic ambiance: candle lit tables,  miniature wall paintings and selves adorned with endless amounts of wine.

    Appetizers:
    Escargot:
by far the best I've had on this vacation. Buttery, aromatic, and savory. I like my escargot somewhat on the "overpowering" side and this was perfect.

    French Onion Soup:
ooey gooey goodness. The perfect amount of cheese to broth ratio. Was not overly salty whatsoever and it really warmed us up during the really cold night.

    Entrees:
Creamy Linguine with Poached Egg and Truffle Shavings: this pasta was as creamy as can be, but I think it could've used a little more seasonings. The pasta was definitely on the blander side. The poached egg added more to the already creamy pasta and the truffle shavings was a very nice touch.

    Scallop Risotto:
The scallops were huge and juicy. The creamy rice was nicely prepared with the perfect amount of seasonings.

    Burger:
Not much to say other than this was a very nice burger. Wasn't dry at all and was juicy enough to eat without any condiments (I love spicy mustard and still put it on haha).
    Be
    Desserts:
    Creme Brûlée:
Many reviews on here said that this is a must try. They were absolutely right. Not too sweet and the dessert literally melts into your mouth.

Overall, if we ever visit Paris again, we will come back here in a heartbeat!8

Lamb: Very tender and well-marinated - no gamey tastes at all. It's all in the sauce. The carrot was also good. The portion is a bit small.

Duck Breast: Really savory and delicious and rich. The duck is also really tender. The berry sauce adds just the perfect amount of sweetness.

All of the dishes came with mashed potatoes, which was appreciated because the dishes weren't too filling.

Moelleux: Decadent and creamy. Really nice finisher! The hard sugar piece on top was all right, it tasted okay but got stuck in my teeth.

They have a great menu - unfortunately, they did run out of many menu items by the time we were seated at 8 PM. Servers were friendly and offered to translate the menu for us. Prices are quite reasonable for Paris - for example, they offer 12 escargots for 12 euros (!).

Risotto was rich and creamy. The rice was perfectly cooked and the texture was perfect. The scallops were wrapped in bacon and were soft and flavorful. The lamb was platted with two sauces that were perfect to use with the bread when we finished. The lamb itself was very tender and melted in our mouths. The fries were crisp and lightly salted.

Dessert: Creme Brûlée and the chocolate mousse. Creme brûlée very velvety in texture, well balanced, made with real vanilla bean. Chocolate mousse was rich with crispy praline to balance out the texture of the mousse. Not too sweet.

I came the day before assuming this place was serving food at 2 am. Unfortunately when we got there around 11:00 the place looked closed already. They need to update their hours since it's incorrect. We came again the day after and they said they were open until 12 am. We called in and made reservations for 11:00 pm.

The restaurant itself was pretty small & because they had a bar section It was pretty loud. If you're looking for a nice romantic quiet place to dine then this place isn't for you . On the other hand if
You're looking for a great meal & don't mind the loudness then you're in for a treat.

Complimentary appetizer : Radish & salt. I really enjoyed this . It tasted delicious and was a nice snack prior to our meal. Whoever thought of this is on to something 5/5

    For our appetizer we ordered

Escargot: Come on it's Paris , there's no way I was going to Paris and not have a staple food. I really liked the escargot . It was very buttery and the herb flavor was great . I loved dipping the bread in the left over sauce. One thing I have to mention is that after a couple of them it does tend to get a little overpowering. But overall, they were yummy and garlicky but maybe leas herbs would've been better. 5/5

Ceviche: I was really intrigued with this one because I wouldn't have thought to have a Spanish dish in Europe. Once i heard there was coconut and fish I was all for it. The flavor was creamy and light. One thing they can add is more lime and a spice would've added a nice kick. Overall I was surprised that it tasted decent. 5/5

    Main course

Rissotto with chicken : The main reason I wanted to try this place out was because they had a risotto and bacon scallop dish . I was a bit disappointed when I was told they changed their menu to risotto & chicken. Although it didn't sound as appetizing as scallops I decided to give it a try. So glad I did. The risotto was
Cooked perfectly. It was nice and creamy and cheesy and the morsels of chicken leg was super tender . I wasn't expecting that at all . The chicken tasted a lot like quail. I was loving every bite. It also tasted great with the balsamic reduction on the side. Overall this dish was super filling and  tasty. Try it 5/5

    Dessert
Creme brûlée: Great way to end our meal . It tasted how a Creme brûlée should taste. The consistency was almost like flan , it was a little more dense which was still good .5/5

The service here was great and they even spoke some English which came in handy. I really recommend this place if you're looking for a satisfying dinner. Everything we had was impeccable. Merci!

The most amazing pasta with truffle oil. Tucked away on a little back street. Charming
